Fame One Alexander is the oldest of the Golden
Mic Kids. The proud president
and owner of the company, Fame has a vision
to expand his company into a
something that would make Vince McMahon
or Ted Turner shake in their
Entertainment business suits.
In the heart, Fame One is a media and music
lover. Starting off with radio
in the late 80's, he was the sidekick of
some of Toronto's best voice
including Tom Rivers, Larry Fedorick, Humble
Howard, Jesse and Gene, and
Anwar Knight.
After coming home from studying radio and
television in the States, Fame
wanted to exceed his abilities (which he
deeply believes in) and to tread
into new waters. He then attended Trebas
Institute taking the Music Business
Program. Graduating in June of 2000, he
landed on a new gig as part of the
REMG street team. Working for a company
that he gave so much money too is always good. Seeing his favorite Hip Hop
artists was even better.
It was through his experiences with "Mr.
Hip Hop" and REMG prez, Jonathen Ramos and the rest of the boys that Fame
realized how much fun this industry
was. Ramos played a big part of making Fame
decide to open Golden Mic
Entertainment.
Still grooving with REMG, Fame is busy heading
up Golden Mic and always
trying new and innovative things somewhere
in the limelight.
